(Santisima Virgen de Chapi)Este sábado 15 de mayo, la Parroquia "San Miguel Arcángel" de Camaná, promovió una peregrinación mariana al Santuario de la santisima "Virgen de Chapi", distante a 219 km de la ciudad de Camaná.
A las 6.30 am., entre cánticos y oraciones, partieron los 250 peregrinos rumbo a Chapi en un convoy conformado por 5 buses.
Ya en el Santuario de Chapi, se unieron otros feligreses camanejos que viajaron en movilidades particulares donde todos juntos participaron de la Santa Misa, renovando su amor y devoción por la mamita de Chapi.
De acuerdo a lo informado en una entrevista realizada por Radio ONSUR al promotor y responsable de este evento, Pbro. Felipe Gamero Sanchez, Los motivos de esta peregrinación fueron:
1) Por ser el mes de mayo, mes consagrado a la Santísma Virgen María.
2) Por ser el 92 aniversario de la aparición de la Virgen de Fatima.
3) Por encontrarnos en el año sacerdotal.
4) Por aprovechar de estos momentos para rogar que cese la campaña mundial contra la Iglesia católica y el Santo Padre, Papa Benedicto XVI.
5) Por las intenciones particulares de cada peregrino.
